Dina Meyer is a New York native who was brought up within Forest Hills Queens. She relocated to Dix Hills Long Island just after she completed her high school junior year. She has two siblings, one of whom is older, named Gregory and a younger one named Evan. Her career began in entertainment when she was nine and was modeling. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock received similar training and also Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are also amongst the actors that have undergone similar training. The first film she appeared in was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to relocate in Los Angeles. After being offered the lead part for Johnny Mnemonic where she did most of the stunts on her own, she established herself as an actress athletic. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to get a regular part on Friends.
